update(shipping regulations)-31 March

As the problem at the nuclear power plants in Fukushima caused by the Great Kanto-Tohoku Earthquake of March 11th has yet to be resolved, i-TM4U has temporarily revised our shipping regulations.

Scientists here say there is no severe danger for the residents of the districts more than 30Km from the plant.
Some people believe it is not 30km but rather 80km, but TOKYO is about 200-250km from the site.

The plant has been in a comparative lull so far and we don’t think there wil be a state of emergency.

Therefore we’re going to restore our shipping regulations gradually.

Currently (3/18), it has been recommended that everyone within a 90km radius of the Fukushima nuclear plant evacuation.

Tokyo is about 200-250km from the site, so according to current recommendations there are currently no problems for us. However, as the situation at the Fukushima nuclear plant has not been resolved, we cannot say that there is zero chance that Tokyo might have to evacuate as well.

Therefore, we would like to send out your items as soon as possible after we receive them.

If Tokyo were to evacuate, i-TM4U would move our office to Kansai or Shikoku and continue business as usual. We ask for your understanding.

Furthermore, we will continue to watch the state of affairs of the accident, and once a definitive recommendation has been made for Tokyo, we will cancel this temporary change in our regulations regarding shipping and the combining of packages.

Shipment Delay

Because of hitting large earthquake on 11th March, traffic system and transportation around Kanto-Tokyo area have much trouble.
We usually ship on Saturday but we cannot ship tomorrow(12th March) because of this reason.
We’re going to start to ship items next Monday; on 14th.
However, if large earthquake hit again (It’s still shaking some time), we may not be able to ship items next Monday. We’re going to update about it here in this case.
We are sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding.
