A post card from a customer

a post card from a customer

I have received a post card from a customer who is living in France.

This is beautiful post card.

This scenery is very different from Japan (We never see this landscape here.).
I like seeing different landscape, from Europe, Middle East, Asian countries, US, Africa…etc

It’s really wonderful for me that customers send me a postcard. It makes me happy!

I’ve ever received many cards from customers. I am sorry I cannot introduce all of them, but I am grateful for them..

Closet Child, Innocent World, and Bikkuri donkey XD

I went to one of Closet Child branch stores in Tokyo today.

I went to ‘Bikkuri Donkey (びっくりドンキー)’ to have a lunch after that.

Bikkuri Donkey is famous humberger restaurant (chani store) in Japan.

(I ate all within 20 min because I was very hungry!! lol)

Rose Panel JSK from Innocent world  (this photo is for quote)

I hope my customer will like this JSK!

Tote bag and Pochette by my friend

A friend of mine made a tote bag

Moreover, she made a pochette too!  That’s surprising!!

I am very happy with the 2 her presents.
Ah.. I wish I were good at making hand-made..

Cute! Handmade Tote Bag

So cute Tote Bag!  Don’t you think so?

This tote bag is not made by me…. A friend of mine made it for herself.

Her screen name is Claudia. I got to know her thorough Turkish language lesson. (oh…yes, I didn’t tell you that I’ve started to learn Turkish again!)

I saw this bag when I met her at Turkish class.
I wanted to buy it and asked her where she bought it.
I was very surprised when she told that the bag was made by her.

Very beautiful and professional! ..you think so, yes?

So I asked her to make the same one for me.  :D
(Please don’t blame me because I am not going to make it by myself…XD )

But unfortunately, the cute fabric (laminated) is sold out.

I am going to a fabric store with her next week.
I will choose some cute fabrics (and buy them), then ask her to make a tote bag. (Please don’t call me ‘lazy wife’! XD)

I hope I will find fabrics as cute as this fabric when I go to the store with her.

Mother’s day and Preserved Flowers

Next Sunday is Mother’s Day.

Are you going to send flowers to your mother?
Are you going to send her small gift too?

Preserved Flowers is very popular here in Japan. Many ppl choose preserved flowers as ‘Gift for Mother’s day’

Preserved Flowers is not dried flowers.
It is originally from  Europe as you know. By special preserving process, you can enjoy real natural flowers’ liveliness, colors and texture for 1 year or more. Not only this, but also you can create ‘color’ of flowers.

Ikebana is Japanese traditional flower arrangement.

Compare to Ikebana, Preserved flower is open ended and more originality.

There are many preserved flowers schools in Japan and many women go to the schools, for example office ladies go to the schools after work, housewives go there in the morning or early afternoon before their husbands come back home.

They can open their ‘preserved flowers school’  at home after graduating from the school.   School is small but it is like ’salon’.

It is difficult for them to make big profit from ’salon-like-school’.
But maybe it is better for them than commute in overcrowded trains every early morning.
This is one of reason why Preserved Flowers school is popular among Japanese ladies.
